The gîtes are set in a traditional Charentais courtyard and are barns lovingly renovated to provide comfortable, modern accommodation whilst retaining many original features. The gîtes have two bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and the other with two single beds. There is an open-plan living/dining area and a kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, hob and oven. Outside there is a 10m x 5m swimming pool (shared with the owners) which also benefits from a fully retractable cover (allowing you to use the pool even on those rare days when the sun is not shining) with sun loungers and pool toys, all set in an acre of private garden overlooking the beautiful countryside. Outside there is also a covered dining room (the hangar) with 2 barbecues, a food preparation area (with toilet and washing machine) and a collection of toys and games for all ages, including table tennis, trampoline and wooden play area. Cars are parked in the courtyard on the opposite side of the gîtes from the pool and garden so as not to interrupt the view or disturb your holiday.
