Le Vieux Monastère, 7 exceptional gîtes in the heart of the Charente-Maritime countryside, 45 minutes from the beaches, ideal for families. A wide choice of maximum capacities of 4, 6 or 8 people, for a total capacity of up to 40 people. Our accommodation has been designed to combine the comforts of home with the rustic charm of a stay in a traditional French gîte rural and is all well equipped. We have retained attractive features such as exposed oak beams and stone walls, while finishing kitchens and bathrooms with contemporary fittings, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene. The gîtes are all located in the enclosed grounds of the monastery, providing a safe and secure environment for children and, because of its exceptional position, offer magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. We offer the following facilities which are all included in the price so you won't find any hidden extras: Kitchens include a full oven and hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The living areas have comfortable sofas, a dining area, satellite TV and a DVD player. Very high-speed wifi is available in all the gîtes. Each gîte includes a private garden table and barbecue. Bed linen and towels are provided. Cots, high chairs and baby baths are available on request. Gîte Matisse is all on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.
