Bed and breakfast with garden views in a 19th-century manor house, typical of the region, completely renovated by the owner, a decorator and an antiques dealer, just a short walk from St-Savinien town centre, its lake and the Charente. The village of Saint-Savinien has been awarded the 'Village de Pierres et d'Eau', 'Petites cités de caractère' and 'Ville et Métiers d'Art' labels, and is located in the centre of the Charente-Maritime department, making it possible to visit all that the Charente-Maritime region has to offer within a 40 km radius. Ideally situated between the Atlantic Ocean, only 30 minutes away by car, and the town of Saintes, with its 2000 years of history. To the north-west, La Rochelle and the Ile de Ré, and to the south-west, the town of Royan, the beaches of the Côte Sauvage, the national forest and numerous Gallo-Roman sites. La Burie offers 2 suites and a family suite for up to 6 people. Each room offers maximum comfort, quality bedding, cotton or linen bed linen, large beds (180 cm), custom-made furniture mixed with carefully selected vintage furniture and objects. The rooms are approximately 25 m2 in size. The 2 bedrooms on the second floor of the house each have their own shower room and toilet, as part of the suite. A private lounge connects the 2 bedrooms, with a kitchenette area (equipped with fridge, microwave, nespresso, kettle). The family suite offers 2 separate bedrooms, one with a mezzanine where the second double bed is located. The XXL bathroom and toilet are shared by these 2 bedrooms. Nespresso and kettle available. Bed linen and towels are provided. You will find a bottle of water in your room. There is no extra cleaning charge. Superior breakfast is included in the price. There is no air conditioning or television in the rooms or public areas. Wi-Fi access is available and free of charge. A garage is available for storing bicycles and accessories and is equipped with an electricity supply for charging batteries. Guests have access to the indoor communal areas (lounge, dining room) as well as the outdoor areas: a large garden at the front, a private courtyard and a terrace at the back. Tables, chairs, armchairs, deckchairs, hammocks and parasols are all available. Free private parking is available at the front of the house, inside the property.
