The Royal Abbey of Saint-Jean-d'Angély, which is protected as a Historic Monument and is part of the UNESCO serial cultural site of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela, is delighted to welcome pilgrims back to the Abbey. It can accommodate 15 pilgrims per night. It is reserved for pilgrims with a credit card who have made a reservation by 4pm on D-day on the website: halteangely.fr. Payment is exclusively by credit card. Once the payment has been made, the code for the digicodes located at the main entrance and the access door to the rooms will be sent to you by email on the morning of your arrival. Rooms may be occupied from 2pm to 9am. Pilgrims may stay for a maximum of two consecutive nights. La Halte offers wifi internet access. Bicycles can be parked in an unsupervised shelter located under the courtyard of the Cour d'Honneur. Pilgrims must bring their own sheets or sleeping bags and meals. The Halte must be vacated by 9am each morning and left in a clean condition with the lights off. If the Halte is full or inaccessible at the time of your visit, the Tourist Office (05 46 32 04 72), the Le Bourdon association (06 99 44 53 62) and the Val de Boutonne campsite (05 46 32 26 16) are at your disposal.
