L'école et la mairie
The school, which originally admitted only boys, was built between 1877 and 1879. A room for the town hall was added to the building in 1886. The girls’ classroom, at the far right, was not added until 1930. As the children now attend school in Aulnay-de-Saintonge, the classroom has been converted into a meeting room, adjoining the town hall.
