Le presbytère

Most of the buildings in this former vicarage date from before 1800, although they were altered in the 19th century with the addition of a boundary wall and the construction of a laundry room in 1884 by the architect Arsonneau. It was converted into social housing at the end of the 20th century. The main building, which housed the former vicarage, features five bays, a moulded cornice, projecting window sills, corner buttresses and arched window and door frames. A well with a circular coping, situated at the rear, completes the ensemble. The covered gateway, adorned with a cornice, comprises a carriage gate (the main opening through which carts passed) and a pedestrian gate, both featuring carved clasp motifs. The carriage gate features foliage with a stone carved with a cross above it, whilst the pedestrian gate features a diamond motif.
