Our holiday cottage, a typical Charente stone house located near Saint-Savinien, is ideal for holidays with family or friends. It can accommodate up to 4 people, including 2 adults and 2 children or 1 additional adult. We offer you the opportunity to stay in a lovely renovated Charentaise house, adjacent to our home but completely independent. You will enter a large open-plan living room. The lounge area is equipped with a comfortable 160 x 200 sofa bed and a smart TV. The kitchen area is fully equipped so that you have everything you need: cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, crockery and utensils. Upstairs, a mezzanine opening onto the living room offers a spacious bedroom with new 160 x 200 bedding, a small desk, a wardrobe, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Wi-Fi is available for remote working if required. A covered outdoor patio completes the house, which is lit up in the evening. Garden furniture and an electric plancha grill are at your disposal. Bed linen with beds made on arrival and towels are provided. You will enjoy your stay in summer, as the stone keeps the accommodation cool and it is equipped with mosquito nets for peaceful nights. Coffee, tea, jam, etc. will be available, as well as a refreshing drink. **Shops are located in Saint-Savinien, including a U supermarket with a fishmonger and oysters direct from Oléron on Sunday mornings in the shop car park. **A butcher and caterer comes to your door on Tuesday evenings between 6 and 7 p.m. Bernard will be delighted to serve you his wonderful Charente pâté. **A summer swimming pool located 10 minutes from the hamlet is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 1.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. This magnificent swimming pool has just been completely renovated and is ideal for families.Enjoy a large pool with five lanes, a small pool accessible by steps, a paddling pool, a 4-lane water slide and a children's play area. Aquagym, individual and group swimming lessons... Several activities are offered throughout the summer. We offer free entry to travellers.
