We offer a two-bedroom holiday cottage in a large historic house in the heart of the town, with a garden and a heated swimming pool. Pets are not allowed. A secure area can be provided for bicycles. Le Relais d’Angély offers a charming holiday cottage in the heart of Saint-Jean-d’Angély, in a quiet location less than a two-minute walk from the picturesque Place du Pilori. The 75m² cottage is situated on the second floor of our house, laid out like a flat with two bedrooms: a large, air-conditioned family bedroom with a double bed and a pull-out bed, an adjoining study and a shower room with a toilet; a second air-conditioned bedroom with two single beds and an adjoining shower room; a shared bathroom/toilet on the landing; a kitchen; and a small lounge with a desk to complete the accommodation. This haven of peace, hidden behind high stone walls, combines the gentleness of nature with the richness of a living heritage. A former 17th-century coaching inn, this characterful residence charms with the authenticity of its old stones, its century-old cedar tree, the song of birds and its large, tree-lined garden with a swimming pool.
