L'école

Français

The school closed in 1993 and the premises are currently used by the town hall. The façade of this building is very well-balanced, with its neatly arranged windows, moulded cornice, modillion cornice, slightly arched windows on the upper floor, and ornate capitals at each end of the façade. A façade clock, funded by a generous donation from a local resident who died in 1882, was added to an ornate dormer window with a triangular pediment, situated on the roof. Behind the dormer window, the bell remains, and behind the town hall are the courtyard, the toilets, the former classrooms and the covered playground.
