La Fête du Cognac is an unmissable summer event held during the last weekend of July in Cognac, now located in the wooded setting of Allée Guy Gautier near the Parc François-1er. This unique festival blends the atmosphere of a major gastronomic fair with contemporary music concerts, where guests dine at large, convivial communal tables to enjoy local delicacies such as oysters, mussels, and Charentais melon. Driven by the energy of 700 volunteers, the festival showcases cognac served as a "long drink," as well as IGP Charentais wine and Pineau des Charentes, offering a festive and relaxed experience that draws thousands of visitors every night.
